医療法人永井病院は津城の西に位置し、二次救急指定病院として永きにわたり地域医療に貢献されている歴史ある病院である。
新棟完成に合わせ外来棟前には当病院の記念的存在であったクスノキを移植し、周りとの調和を計った。
又、エントランス前はシンプルな植栽と当院の顔となるようなデザインとした。
特に力を注いだのは病院のシンボルマークをGLASSのObjectで表現することであった。
ガラスオブジェのモチーフは当病院のロゴデザイン「知性・誠実・愛情」を表現している。

The Nagai Hospital, located on the western part of the Tsu Castle in Mie Prefecture, is a historic hospital that has contributed to local healthcare over many years as a secondary specified emergency hospital.
Upon the completion of new hospital buildings, camphor trees that hold many memories of this hospital have been transferred to the front of the new outpatients' ward, in harmony with other newly planted trees.
The area in front of the main building entrance is designed so that this serves as the "face of the hospital" using simple planting and a symbolic glass garden feature. I placed particular emphasis on this glass feature with a motif of the hospital logo that represents "intelligence, sincerity and affection."
