Art wall Houseとしての美に対し、景観はどうあったら良いのか。
提案したのが周辺地域にとっても良い環境作りにすることであった。
土地の傾斜を利用し、砕石と植栽によるシンプルな構成とした。
主木として選んだのがジューンベリー、その他ハイノキなど季節の彩りを建物に映し出してくれる。
完成後、外観は住み手と地域の人々に心地良い景観を提供してくれている。

Considering how the landscape should accentuate the beauty of the Art Wall House, I suggested creating a suitable environment for the surrounding neighborhood.
The composition is kept simple by planting trees among crushed stones, while making the best use of the original gradient of the land. The principal trees are juneberries, with sweetleaves and other trees planted so that they cast beautiful shadows on the walls of the house according to the season.
The appearance provides a pleasant landscape for both residents in the house and those in this neighborhood.

As the name suggests, there is a green hill in the central courtyard of the facilities that produces a natural landscape with falls and streams.
The oval hill represents “harmony among people”.
The entire courtyard is designed to produce serene views from the open-air bath and the training gym for the residents.
